Today may be the most important of the entire recording session. Jamie has been doing some amazing work with the instrumentation on my songs, but really, the vocals are where I have to step up to the plate. I’m not really nervous – more excited, especially now that I’ve been in the studio and recorded vocals a few times now. But I do still feel some pressure. I’ll know if there are parts that could have been better even if a general listener doesn’t catch them.
So off I go, ready to make the best damn album possible!
